Presentations & Element 1 Submission

During the fifth week we had our presentations for the project proposal. Each one of us had to present in maximum ten minutes, regarding the concept, motivation, a project plan outlining key milestones and a timeline for completion. The project details and required submissions will be determined through discussions with the personal tutor and unit lead, allowing adjustments to align the deliverables with both my creative vision and course requirements.

This was the first submission for the module Final Major Project and although it’s only 10% weighting of unit mark, it still is important as it can set a precise plan for developing my work.

During the day I was the first to present as I wanted to relief myself from the anxiety, also to make a good impression, just in case. I presented everything as I prepared at home within the 10 minutes time, and I believe I did pretty good. My tutor, Diego, asked me only two questions regarding the project proposal presentation, as after each presentation. He asked me about the genres of the tracks that I’m going to remix and into what genres I’m going to remix them. I talked about them in the presentation but maybe I didn’t specify too well. We also got filmed for every presentation as in third year it is practice to do for every summative assessment. In the end Diego said we all did a good job, which I’m happy about cause obviously I’m proud of myself but I’m even happier if all my friends and colleagues succeed.
