Preparing your crit
During this weekly class we talked about the future showcase that will take place in June, for our course and also by being third year we could, if we want to, go deeper about our work. I don’t really have that much to showcase but i believe it is useful; even more because some important figures in the music field are going to be invited. We can vote and propose the venue even tough there’s a list of venues that are partner with the university. I wouldn’t know which one to chose not because i don’t know anything about venues on the contrary i’ve been to a lot of venues/clubs in London, but just because i’m not really worrying about that. I have a lot of work for the classes and i also have to decide what do next year, in case I would do a master in London or if I should go back to Italy as my student Visa will expire in September 2025.
After we discussed about the next presentation for the F.M.P which is going to be the 15th of January. Diego gave us some advice on the presentation and he also let us some time to confront with classmates. I had already started my presentation since the week before when we had another class on it, so i just kept with the work. I still have to finish it but i have time having also this Christmas break as extra time.
For my first remix i’m a little bit behind the schedule but considering this extra time i’m not worried as i have everything under control. I just need more time as i have been focusing on other submission for other classes.
Feedback Diego on tutorial
I had a tutorial with my course leader, Diego, in which we confronted about how the work for the F.M.P is going. In particular about the remixes, the work in progress presentation and the weekly journals, but as well for next year. Which was a thing i really much appreciated as i have too many choices to take but not a decision made yet. I think is going to be something we will talk about in a specific course made for third years to help decide. I would really need that :), that is why I’m eagerly waiting for it.
